The only other thing could be what your USB is configed to on your pc and motherboard. I'd say just get working with Just USB first. But if you tried on different pc with simular resaults.

The only other suggestion is and I'm afraid its big one. Oh and haven't figured out how get headphone jack yet work on PC lol (minor) I tried my DS4 again with Subnatcia that I notice it worked lol Older DS3 tool to get my ds3 to work for games. If talking about just for PC (Driver?) I have not had install any drivers how-ever I have used I do have re-plug usb back into my ps4 and hit ps4 buttion for the ps4 to see it again. As far I know (Wired USB connection only for PC) same one I use for my ps4. What do you mean by Registered? As in drivers or what?ĭS4 support for many pc games has been hit or miss. This first time i've seen steam games native (In-game) have DS4 support and they should since many games are on ps4.Īs said, I've Never register my DS4 to anything. I don't have any other game that has an issue with the PS4 controller(s) I've connected on either system, just Styx. Tried it on another systems, similar results, so most likely something that is saved between Styx and Steam. Even tried removing and reinstalling the game. Also, if the PS4 controller is registered, it doesn't work.Īlso, once registered, the PS4 controller won't work any longer even after removing the driver, removing bluetooth connection, connecting to USB, etc., so I think that somehow, once Steam or the game identifies the PS4 controller, either steam or Styx creates some form of file that is corrupt. When connecting with bluetooth, either not-registered or registered, it does not work. What I have found is that if the PS4 controller is connected by USB and NOT registered to my account, it will work fine. Thanks for the tips Sire! I actually have tried different USB cables, a total of 3 PS4 controllers (Black v1, Silver v2, Blue v2), different USB ports, Bluetooth vs USB.
